The semester capstone solo project for my major, Information Technology - Gaming and Simulation. This project is a top-down, rouge-like shooter and include mechanics such as randomly generated level layout, an enemy and boss type and stat changing items. The focus was only on mechanics and not visuals so it looks rough. The official start date would be Sept. 2020, however many people wanted to get a head start and start in August. The end date was early Nov. 2020, so the project was completed in around 4 months. The rough draft of game design document I made before the first class can be downloaded HERE. Sadly, the game design document used during class contains a lot of Capstone requirements and leaves out a fair amount of detail. If needed, the document can be requested via email.
